Another benefit of being a Rotary club member is the opportunity to have international experiences and connections, and work on projects in other parts of the world.
International projects are typically carried out in partnership with a local Rotary club and often in association with other clubs. International Service projects are often supported by a global or district grant from the Rotary Foundation.

Some of our recent International Service projects include:-

Support for the San Miguel de Allende School for the Deaf
in Mexico. There are no publicly funded schools for deaf children in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. This school ensures that all San Miguel de Allende children who are deaf or hearing impaired become literate, independent, and productive citizens.

This project provided a labour/maternity ward at a local health dispensary, thereby increasing operating hours, and giving the local catchment area of 25,000 people access to health care 24 hours a day.
Miguta Kenya.

Included in this project were a well, water storage, and solar power at the Hosanna Children's Home for the Destitute in Kenya. Having water security will allow the Home to grow more vegetables, develop a small fish farm and a "zero grazing" cattle project.
