The Event

On the 24th of November the Brennan Park Leisure Centre will be transformed into a gala dinner party atmosphere for a fundraising dinner complete with wine.  All this to pay tribute on one of the true pioneers of our community Dr. Laverne Kindree.  The tribute will focus on fundraising for the Squamish Health Care Foundation Society and the Rotary Club of Squamish is helping with its expertise to celebrate the 58 years of service that Dr. Kindree has given our community.

The Squamish Health Care Foundation Society uses cash as the catalyst for other grants and matching funds for the purchase of equipment in the Squamish General Hospital Emergency Ward.  In effect every dollar raised can be levered into two to three times the actual cash when it comes to purchasing hospital equipment.
